shouldn't but do

My fashion gut (largely the same as my normal gut, just better dressed) tells me to dislike the Dolce & Gabbana metal belt corset thing for the main reason that it looks painful to wear. Usually I believe that too much pain just for the sake of looking "cool" is silly because the whole point of wearing clothes is, well, to not be in pain. But this picture makes it look good. Maybe it's the dress...
These are just wicked sweet. Normally I don't like things with random faces but these tights work for me.

Like Wow

I'm not really sure where these pictures come from, but I love the way they look.
This I found on Foto Decadent.
I have just discovered that they are from Italian Flair. But aside from her jacket looking retro and adorable I just love the image. Astronauts and such have always interested me and this picture is just so cute.
Chances are this is also from Foto Decadent but I just found it lurking on my desktop. I love the hats the most in this photo. I really really want more more people to wear hats. Their boots are nice too. I need a nice pair of boots but not until fall.

These two from Urban Outfitters would be nice. They have a lot of fringed boots. Have to say that I like the look.

What Not To Wear

Did anyone else love this show? Thanks to being totally unoccupied, I've had plenty of time to catch up on daytime television. Mythbusters and What Not To Wear are basically the only things I'll watch. But I love love love Stacy and Clinton faithfully doling out advice to the unfortunately dressed masses.

We have a Visa/Bank of America card with your name on it and $5000. All you have to do is hand over your entire wardrobe and shop for a new one with us in New York.
Clinton vaguely resembles Daniel Craig.
"If I was a super hero I would be Cashmere Man." - Clinton Kelly

Ah Carmindy. Is anything she does actually as simple as she leads us to believe? I've always wanted to be able to know how to make the perfect smoky eye. I should re-watch the episode...
Nick Arrojo. What a character. I think only one person refused to have her hair cut. She was like 6ft tall with 5ft long hair and it was so awkward 'cause she wouldn't let anyone do anything and her outfits only got a little bit better. So boring.
Much better.

I Am Model

Okay I don't have the best picture of the vampire zombie thing from I Am Legend but you get the idea. Why would that face help you sell clothes?

ESPN or something

When did she become a model?

radikal.

There's nothing like being a princess/fairy and gallavanting about a fashionable city. Me and my pals frequently don petite crowns, dripping with sparkles, and pull on some little old things from our decadent closets.

We like to climb public statues. In heels.
We like to wear Wayfarers.
We like fancy gates and arm glove things.
Again, statue climbing is a must, but what to do once you're up there? Stick a plastic halo to the back of your crown and give the camera and adorable face.
Our love of gates cannot be hidden. Even if we are running from adoring multitudes, got to stop and admire.
Did I mention we liked bowler hats? It's only a teensy bit like Clockwork Orange.

Okay, no, C and I are not princesses nor are any of our friends (as far as we know, Princess Mia of Genovia types might still be waiting to be discovered). But these photos make me want to go to Europe, anywhere in Europe, and look at pretty things. Pretty people, pretty architecture, pretty nature, pretty food, anything. (these pictures are from Russian Vogue, by the way, via Foto Decadent, so I'm not just guessing about the Europe thing, although Russia may technically be Asia...)

hairanimals.

I am drooling over these things. I want the lion and bear especially.
